Costume Information

All Girls in the Party Scene/Beginning of Act II/Mother Ginger will need Black Ballet Slippers, Pink Ballet Slippers, Pink Tights and a White Leotard or Nude Leotard.  Dancers must also be prepared to wear their hair ½ up, in a bun and in a pony tail.

All Boys must have black ballet slippers.

All Female parents in the Party scene must have black character shoes and black tights or knee high stockings.

Men in the party scene must have black jazz shoes.

All girls on pointe must calamine their pointe shoes. Specific Soloist parts do not need to calamine their shoes.  Stevie will notify you if you DO NOT need to calamine your shoes, otherwise assume that you need to. Please ask for assistance if you need it.

Snowflakes need to provide their own white trunks.

Chinese Dragon: Black tights, black ballet slippers

Chinese Corps and Soloist:  Pink Tights, Black ballet slippers

Lambs: Black ballet slippers

Any undergarments must be invisible to the audience – no shiny straps.

No nail polish may be worn on stage. 

If you wear clips in your hair, they must match your hair color. 

All ballet slipper elastics must be sewn. 

No Jewelry except for small rhinestone earrings for Act 1 female parents, Snow Queen, Dew Drop Fairy, Sugar Plum Fairy.  Snowflakes and Waltz of the Flower corps de ballet upon discussion.
