For older and more experienced dancers, RBC offers a one week

contemporary, modern, choreography, and dance improvisation among
others. This week will give students the opportunity to experience other
dance styles in addition to classical ballet. In particular, contemporary
and modern dance classes will give the serious dance student a chance
to learn techniques that are not available at other local dance studios.

Camp for Younger Dancers
July 5 to July 8
Monday through Thursday from 9:30 am to 4 pm
Ages 8 – 12
This week emphasizes experiencing the fun of moving to music while at
the same time building strength, control, and coordination and the use
of those skills in creating dance in a fun, friendly, and non-competitive
way. It is a great camp for those students with no dance experience as
well as those who have been taking classes for a few years.

Students will have the opportunity to take a variety of classes to ease
back into a busy dance season and auditions. Classes include ballet
each day and then a choice
of pointe, jazz, modern/contemporary on different days.
Dancers may sign up for as few
or as many classes as they wish.
More information coming soon.
Camps and classes will be taught by RBC’s
Stevie Dunham and Artistic Directors
Keith and Maureen Robinson as well as
guest instructors.
